The Board of Mensheds Australia

The constitution allows for each member state association to appoint one person to the Board (member territory associations may collectively appoint one member).

The President is also a member and the chair of the Board.  Ultimately the constitution provides for direct election of the President by Shedders. However, under initial provisional rules, the President may be nominated by the Board from its members. If this happens then the state which that person originally represented may appoint another member.

In addition the Board may nominate up to three external directors, based on their expertise. External directors may not be President and there are restrictions on their ability to carry a motion without the support of state representative directors.
